Pershore & Cotswolds
This morning, we are travelling towards the pretty Cotswold area making our first stop in Pershore for morning refreshments. This little town is famed for its elegant Georgian architecture, magnificent Abbey and the charming River Avon. You will find plenty of independent shops and cafes too.
Then we continue to the pretty town of Burford, once a great wool town and market centre in the south Cotswolds. It is situated on the River Windrush and is often referred to as a 'gateway' to the Cotswolds. There is a wide High Street which is noted for its old buildings, many of which date back to the 1400’s and a good selection of independent shops and cafes.
The price of this trip is £36.00 per person. The Coach will leave Albrighton High Street at 8.45am and Trinity Methodist Church, Histons Hill, Codsall at 9.00am and we should be back in Codsall / Albrighton for 6.30pm
