It has been many years since we last visited Royal Leamington Spa. It is a fashionable and elegant town in the heart of South Warwickshire and with its elegant wide boulevards, Georgian and Victorian architecture, tree-lined avenues and squares and nearby gardens, it offers something for everyone. Being a spa town and famous for its waters in the past, the magnificent Royal Pump Rooms have been preserved and now house the town's Museum, Art Gallery, Library and Tourist Information Centre. In the museum, there are displays about the use of the Pump Rooms and the chance to sample the water! Crossing the road from the Royal Pump Rooms are the Jephson Gardens if you should want a gentle stroll or visit the sub-tropical glass house which could be a warm option if it is chilly. With an impressive array of independent shops as well as the well-known high street chains, a good variety of restaurants and cafes, there is something for everyone On the way we will stop at Evesham Country Park, where you’ll discover a garden centre, farm shop, crazy golf, courtyard shops, restaurants and Evesham Light Railway (if it is operating). If you prefer a stroll, enjoy the vast estate which leads down to the River Avon. The coach will leave Albrighton at 8.45am and Codsall Methodist church car park, Histons Hill, at 9.00am, and we will be back in Codsall/Albrighton for 6.30pm ish.
