Tetbury & Chavenage House
Tetbury is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and the second largest town in the Cotswolds. It is the home of King Charles III and The Queen Consort. Tetbury was an important market for Cotswold wool and yarn during the Middle Ages and today, it is better associated with boutique shops, great food, and its Royal Connections. Just a few miles up the road we will visit a charming Cotswold manor house, Chavenage, practically unchanged in 400years and used for many films and series amongst them are Lark Rise to Candleford, House of Eliot, Cider with Rosie and Poldark. We will have a guided tour here with afternoon scones & tea served in one of the historic rooms and included in the price of today’s trip .
The coach will leave Albrighton, Crown bus shelter at 7.50 am and Trinity Methodist church, Codsall at 8.00am The cost of today’s trip is £48
