Around Christmas time, Webbs of Wychbold transforms into a winter wonderland with its display of animated scenes, Christmas trees, wreaths garlands, decorations and lights. As well as Christmas you will find a delicatessen, a bakery, confectionery, drinks etc. and of course gifts and a large café. From here we will make the short journey into the city of Worcester for lunch and free time for browsing. The magnificent Cathedral alongside the River Severn houses the tomb of King John, and a pleasant café. In the town you will find a small National Trust property called Greyfriars, (a late medieval merchant's house), rescued from demolition, plus several shops, restaurants and cafes to tempt your taste buds.
We will leave Albrighton, Crown bus top at 9.00am and Trinity Methodist Church, Histons Hill at 9.15am and be back home by 5.00pm…
